Heavy flood and lightning hit Skwar town, adjacent to Gilgit city, here on Monday evening inundating a vast area but there is no report of any human loss, police said. Police said the flood also caused blockade of KKH where traffic was suspended. Workers of FWO have reached the site to open the road for traffic. The frightened people of the area spent the night under the sky as the flood had played havoc in the same area some days before. Police said the relief parties have been rushed to the site to assist the affected people.
